1/3 cup organic rolled oats
2/3 cup water, soy or rice milk (or a combination)
2 teaspoons sunflower seeds
1 tablespoons sultanas
1 small very ripe banana, mashed
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Put oats and water in a bowl and microwave for 1-2 minutes until desired consistency is reached. You can, of course do this on the stove if you'd prefer but with one serving it's just easier to use the microwave.. While this is cooking, mash the banana.
Once your oats are cooked, stir, and mix in the rest of the ingredients. If your porridge is too thick, add as much soy/rice milk as you so desire.
I find that this is the perfect amount to fill me up for breakfast. My boyfriend has a considerably larger appetite than me however and likes to double amounts.
