1 English cucumber, quartered lengthwise, then sliced
2 teaspoons chopped ginger
sesame oil, to taste
1. Dressing: In a bowl, combine sugar and vinegar; whisk to thoroughly combine.
2. Salad: In another bowl, combine cucumber and ginger. Drizzle with sesame oil; toss to coat.
3. Just before serving, pour the dressing over the salad; toss to thoroughly mix.
