2 large onions - chopped
2 cans red kidney beans (do not drain)
1 large (28 oz) can stewed tomatoes
2 - 4 oz green chili peppers chopped (more or less to taste)
1/4 cup chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon oregano
red pepper/cumin to taste
Add everything to a big pot. Bring to a boil. Simmer with lid on (but let some of the steam escape) for two hours, stirring about every ten minutes. Enjoy!
