1 6 oz. box of Uncle Bens long grain and wild rice
1/2 cup lentils
4 cups of water
1 can olives, sliced (optional)
Put rice, seasoning packet, lentils, and water in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cover tightly, reduce heat, and simmer unitl all water is absorbed, about 25 minutes. Add olives.
This recipe is best cold, the flavor gets better after a day or two in the refrigerator.
