1 package of soybean cake (tofu)
3 cups bean sprouts
oil (enough to cover saucepan)
salt and sugar (to taste)
black pepper (sprinkle on top)
hot sauce (optional)
Pour oil into saucepan. Slice the soybean cake like a loaf of vegan bread, and fry in the saucepan until medium golden brown on both sides.
Remove the slices, and let it cool for a bit (2 min.)
Cut the slices into strips of desired size.
Place back into saucepan and add teriyaki sauce (enough to cover the tofu).
Add salt and vegan sugar.
Remove from heat and add bean sprouts. Stir and sprinkle with pepper (stir once more).
Serve with cooked rice and hot sauce (optional).
