PB sandwich, depression-style

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

    your favorite bread
    peanut butter
    sweet pickles

Directions:

Its pretty simple, just an odd combination taught to me by a great-uncle who enjoyed this staple as a kid in the Depression.  I didn't see how it could be good, but it was.

Serves: 1

Preparation time: very little

I used some home canned pickles and the onions that were in the jar with them. It was alright, but it's not something I would try again.

I think PB and pickle sandwiches are best when the pickles are REALLY sour!
