Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

    peanut butter
    1 banana
    2 slices of bread

Directions:

Spread peanut butter on vegan bread, then slice banana into quarters.  Add bananas to sandwhich.  Enjoy!

Serves: 1

Preparation time: 5 min

I love these sandwiches.  Also, when I was vacationing in Great Britain (many years with my then-husband), we travelled around the country in a rental car and made our own meals.  For lunch we made peanut butter and dill pickles sandwiches.  They we delicious.

also great is peanut butter w/raisins, green apple sliced thin, and a layer of your favorite fruit butter.

This is a really good, fast, sandwich.  I also put some cinammon and raisins on mine.

I love pb and banana sandwiches! They're even better warm. You can either grill them in a skillet or, what I like to do, is smoosh them in a sandwich maker. Just be careful not to overstuff them if you're using a sandwich maker or else you'll get a gooey banana mess all over. Another tasty, and addictive, variation is to add some choc chips = pb, choc, banana heaven!  Grin Oh, and I've also used almond butter with great results as well.

Yummy! If I want it to be a little sweeter, I'll add some agave nector to it! It's sooooooo good! Cheesy

Mmm mm!  I have made this sandwich in the past.  I recommend adding chocolate syrup to the pb and bananas.....and frying it with some earth balance.

I make this when I want peanut butter, but not PB and J, PB and pickle, or just PB. I've made these for many years..and usually toast the bread.  Wink

Ugh. I'm so disappointed that I have no vegan friendly pb or bread yet. I can't wait to go shopping next week when I get paid! I've got one banana left, and it is dying to be eaten in a delicious pb+banana sandwich.. I absolutely LOVEEEEE this. I'm jealous of anyone with the ingredients.  Angry
