Jam on Grilled Cheese Ingredients (use vegan versions): Your bread of preference (mines squaw)
Your vegan cheese of preference
Margarine (or some sort of grilling agent)
Your jam of preference (mines boysenberry)
Directions:1. Slice cheese and vegan bread
2. Add margarine to pan
3. Add sandwich to pan and grill
After taking sandwich out of pan add jam on TOP of the sandwich. I prefer to eat this with tomato soup. I believe this recipe is the sole property of my mothers creative mind as a single mother w/a picky kid.
Serves: 1
Preparation time: 5-10 Min.
This was one of my favorites as a kid! My husband thinks its weird, so I don't get to eat them often enough any more.

Sounds wacky but I am eager to try it. I met someone who spoons grape jam into pasta with tomato sauce (I watched her do it and eat it!) She loves it. This can't be much weirder!

you know...I love this idea! I've been known to eat hash browns with grape jelly/ jam with lots of freshly ground black pepper...sort of the same idea. Tried it, and it even made my 3 year old LIKE soy cheese!

my favourite pre vegan sarnie was mayo, raspberry jam, garlic sausage, and white cheshire cheese, this looks to be almost as tasty, i shall try it, but i cannot guarantee that i won't be adding some mayo and maybe garlic tofu!!!
