2 large oranges-unpeeled
2 large apples-unpeeled
1 lb. shelled pecans
Directions:With grinder or food process or grind all (not too fine) and mix thouroughly. I serve this as is but vegan sugar may be added it the taste suits you better.

Why would you add the peel of two entire oranges? It is extremely bitter. Perhaps a better choice would be to add the zest of one orange, while making sure the other orange is peeled.

actually my mom makes cranberry orange relish and uses the peels. The peels are a bit bitter, but it takes good that way. I don't know how this is, i haven't made it yet, but it sounds pretty good.

This was a very refreshing end to a Thanksgiving dinner! Much better than the vegan sugar-laden normal cranberry salads.
