I LOVE this recipe. I used basmati brown rice and it is great.  Thanks.

This recipe was a very nice change for me.  I did not have brown rice, but rather long grain white,  it came out fluffy and tasted very good.  Thanks, -lilvoyce

Great recipe!  I made this last night with a blend of wild rices!  OMG...not since my rice-a-roni days has rice tasted soooo good! And I am not a rice eater at all!  I ate it for dinner, lunch, snacks and now eating the rest cold...can't wait for it to heat it up.  I added regular garlic and browned w/ grn. onion...awesome!

This rice was awesome! There were some changes I had to make though because I have like no food in my house. I used ginger and dry mustard instead of sage and a regular onion instead of green. But still the idea was there and the result was fabulous.

This rice is soooo good! I doubled the recipe and made it with vegetable broth but other than that followed it exactly, although had to bake it over an hour but maybe that was because of the short grain brown rice. I love the delicious sauce especially and the texture is perfect.  Smiley

This was very good.  I wanted it to be more of a complete meal so I threw in some lentils and upped the water content just a bit.  It had an excellent overall flavor and I will definitely be adding this to my regular meal rotation.

I really liked this recipe! I had never thought to bake rice and it was a nice change! I used cumin and mustard seeds instead of the green onion (didn't have any), 2 minced garlic cloves, vegetable broth, added a can of crushed tomatoes and decreased the water by a cup, and topped it off with indianish spices. Tasty!
