Goddess Wraps

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

    1 package sprouted wheat tortillas
    1 jar of raw tahini
    1 package nori (seaweed)
1 container of miso (yellow is best)
    1 head of organic lettuce
1 bottle of Annies Goddess salad dressing
3 or 4 tablespoon cayenne pepper

Directions:

Lay a tortilla flat on a plate.  Spread a thin layer of Tahini on it, then place a sheet of Nori on top.  Spread a small amount of Miso down the center of the Nori (careful, it goes a long ways).  Put a large amount of lettuce down the center of the tortilla.  Drip Goddess on the lettuce according to taste.  Sprinkle with a pinch of cayenne.  Wrap tightly and enjoy!  This super nutritional combo of foods will bring about a natural energy buzz!  I've found this also makes a good appetizer when cut into sections and pierced with a toothpick.  People love the unusual taste.

Serves: approx. 8

Preparation time: 5 minutes

what is goddess dressing - just the name sounds appetizing to me but I have never heard of it or know where to get it from. UK

this recipe is very tasty- i like to add mushrooms sauteed with ginger and wasabi (or mustard powder) and omit the cayenne.

annies Goddess dressing is super easy to copy-just go down the ingredients, adding less of each one down. I'll post my rip off when I figure out the proportions.

Goddess dressing is the most amazing dressing ever.  I love it.  This wrap sounds like it has very intense flavor, I'll have to try it!

To substitute for the goddess dressing, try the tahini salad dressing recipe here on vegweb. You might want to leave the ginger out, though.

Annies uses Canola oil in most of the dressings, so a homemade version would be better.  Canola oil is actually very toxic to the liver and should be avoided.

i can't believe i have yet to comment on this, ive been making it for months! its delicious - not a combination id have put together myself, but i discovered it one day when i was poking around the site trying to find what to do with nori sheets other than sushi. i love it, and goddess dressing is absolutely the best thing ever. it was an acquired taste for me, but once i liked it, i loved it.  sometimes i add more veggies - tomatoes, green or red peppers, onion, cucumber, etc. its so so good. Not my favourite.  The nori was just too much so I did some without it and sprinkled some arame instead and that was better.
