These are seriously delicious burgers, and what's more, they don't fall apart while you're cooking them! Tastier than most store-bought patties and restaurant offerings, that's for sure.

This burger had a wonderful mix of ingredients - very nutritious! We loved the chewy oats, grated beets, and sesame seeds. The spices complemented well...thyme can get strong, but it was just right. Of course, avocado is a must for this burger!

We made some awesome changes:
1 whole beet, grated
1/3 cup cooked oats
2/3 cup uncooked oats
2 Tbsp sesame seeds
1/4 cup onion
<1/2 tsp celery seed
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cayenne (ground red pepper)
1 1/2 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp dried thyme and sage each
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
>1/2 cup mashed white northern beans
1 Tbsp ground flaxseeds
2 mushrooms, diced

We baked ours in the oven at 350 degrees on both sides till browned and crisp on the tops.
