Sounds yummy!!! -- I'm definitely gonna give this a try this week -- I'll let you know my husbands (aka the m**t eater) reaction.

I made the EZ BBQ, but I,m not sure what to serve it with. Perhaps its a cultural thing, as I'm in Canada. Can anyone add some suggestions?

Serve it on vegan bread, with coleslaw and baked beans on the side....at least, that's the way we do it here in the Southeast.

How about serving this delicious sounding recipe with cheesy grits? Not very authentic, perhaps, but it sounds like a good combination to me. Or maybe serve it in a polenta pie crust and put it in a pie plate to serve it. Then there's always brown rice. . .

Whenever I ate this (when I was a meat eater), it was on a hamburger bun with, perhaps, a pickle. It is a cultural thing- I am not too fond of most american food.

I made this last week and it was really yummy! I changed the recipe a little though: I added some sliced zucchini for a bit of greenery and cooked the textured soy protein in sesame oil because I just love the taste. I just ate it as is or with some brown rice.
