Fudgsicles!

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

1 package Mori-Nu tofu (or 12 oz (340 g) of any silken tofu)
    1/2 cup (120 mL) sugar
1/4 cup (60 mL) cocoa powder
    1 tablespoon (15 mL) oil
    1/2 teaspoon (2.5 mL) vanilla
    1/8 teaspoon (0.5 mL) salt

Directions:

Blend it all together, pour into popsicle moulds, freeze and enjoy!

These things are addicting, I swear.  Even my milk-addict little sister loves them.

TRY THEM!!

Serves: 4-6, depending on size

Preparation time: 5 minutes plus freeze time

this sounds really good! i can't wait to try it out.

This was wonderful.  My four year old daughter loved making it with me and eating it afterwards.  We had some extra because I only have 4 popsickle makers, so I put it in the fridge and it was good that way too!

These were delicious, creamy and fudgy. My kids devoured them and begged for more.

My 3 1/2yo has been eating these since she was 18 months old & LOVING them!!  Also GREAT for teething toddlers!

Do you use the swiss miss cocoa powder?

Archived comment by: stride4unity
For the above comment:  I am pretty sure its regular unsweetened powder. Swiss miss is cocoa in itself. And I haven't found one commercial drinking cocoa in my area that is vegan

If you are vegan you should sub it with carob powder cocoa mix has whey in it which is another form of milk

Archived comment by: curlyredbone
Plain cocoa powder doesn't have whey in it. I think you're thinking of commercial powdered hot cocoa mix. Look for Hersheys cocoa powder in with the baking products.

Holy cowless treats, Batman!  These are fantastic!  I added a full teaspoon of vanilla, cuz I love it.  For the Tofu, I used Mori-nu Silken Firm, Enriched with fiber & calcium.  I just wish I could post a picture of my 3yr olds face right now!  So happy with a huge chocolate smile.  They don't seem to be dripping all over the place, either.  They taste just like the new Tofutti Fudgesicles on the market.  Best part is that I usually have all the ingredients in my pantry.

Better than store bought for sure! These things are awesome! I doubled the recipes and came out with ten of them. I also used tofu pudding, the kind that you can get at the chinese market and they came out so creamy and tasty!

it might work, try blending up really good so that you don't have tofu chunks! the texture might be different, but it should work okay.

These are absolutely GREAT!  I used fructose instead of sugar, I TSP of vanilla,
and added 1/2 cup of  Vanilla LIGHT Silk soymilk, left everything else the same.  I had enough mixture to fill 9 of my Tupperware "popsicle" molds. My husband
LOVES them. (so do I)  It  has been YEARS since I ate a storebought Fudgesicle but I " think"  these taste exactly the same?  Only MUCH BETTER and healthy cause I KNOW everything that is in these.....and can pronounce all the words.  Cool   Yea, I now have a quick cool summer treat that I can keep stocked up on!!
Thanks, bunnyrabbit

I can't wait to try these!  I was craving a snack and decided to make these.  Of course, they are currently in the freezer...but the batter is so amazingly good.

I got four pops out of this.  I'm sure it could make 6-8, but my batter...got...uh...eaten...
