I'm glad someone else reviewed this today....that's why I made it! It was great! I did marinate mine in tamari/lemon juice/garlic powder first.....and used Amy's BBQ sauce with no HFCS.
Next time I will use less or even omit the water so the sauce is thicker and stickier. I also added cornstarch to the sauce to help it thicken.

Served with cornbread, collards, and baked potatoes. YUM!!!! Thumbs Up

I used frozen thawed tofu and a teriyaki ginger bbq sauce.  This was sooooo good. I even took another block of tofu out of the freezer so I can have this later on in the week!!!

Yummy, yummy, yummy! The sauce for the tofu is scrumptious! I couldn't help but spoon some leftover sauce out of the pan and eat it. The tofu came out soft, but I didn't mind at all. I made this with the spicy fries on this website. Delicious!

Wow! This was so good. I don't like my tofu thick, so I cut it into thin strips instead of cubes. My three year old had seconds, and I like it so much I'm going to pass the recipe along to my ex husband! Now that's special  Grin

So good!  This is an excellent way to make tofu... it's really easy and tastes so good.  I used Trappey's Red Devil in place of the Louisiana hot sauce, and only a little since my guy doesn't do spicy so well, but this turned out great!  Thanks for the recipe, I'll definitely be making this again.   Cheesy

This is a great recipe!  Ive made it a few times. Its so easy! I was eating leftovers for breakfast today at work (weird i know) and my coworker (horrified by the thought of tofu) asked to try it and loved it! Great quick and simple recipe!

I made this recipe using a homemade bbq sauce. I added half of the amount of water and I wish I hadn't I was waiting for it to get really thick and bubble, but it didn't. Other than that, it was on point. I added lots of hot sauce, doubled the red pepper flake and added some broccoli.

I can already tell this is going to become one of my staples.  It was so simple and quick, and sooo tasty.  I left out the hot sauce, simply because I didn't have any and I don't need the spice, haha.  I'm sure I'll be making this again and again.  Thanks for the tasty recipe!   Smitten

This recipe is amazing. My household eats it once a week. We usually have it over rice and steamed broccoli. It's one of my favorite meals!

Just made this againnn. Very yummy. I only had enough stuff for half the sauce though, and wound up putting in wayy too much hot sauce. Loading it with sugar worked though. Very good as always  Thumbs Up

This was fantastic!!! I made it pretty much exactly as directed, but used slightly more than 2/3 cups of bottled sauce. I also used extra-firm tofu that was frozen, thawed, and pressed dry, and served it on grilled whole wheat rolls. My husband and I are addicted now.

Very delicious! I put only half the sugar and half the soy and ommited the hot sause. I think next time I will just use bbq sause and water because I think the sause had enough flavor. I used sweet baby rays bbq sause. Poured over rice and grilled some pineapple to go with it. yummy!!!
