Heavenly Smoothie

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

5 plump red strawberries (frozen gives it an icy zest, can use fresh)
5 juicy peach slices (frozen or fresh)
1 cup or so of lovely apple juice or apple cider
1 big yellow yummy banana-peeling removed
And a heeping handfull of grocery store bag ice

Directions:

Combine the lush ingredients into a blender. Mash down with hands (that's the super fun part). Be sure that you add a liberal amount of apple liquid, but not too much! Put blender on puree and higher if needed.

I drink this smoothie after a rough day or as a summertime treat. It sounds too simple to be so good, but believe me it will knock you off your feet. You will be floating on a cloud after indulging in this.

Nutrition- It is even more nutritious if you add a spoonfull of wheatgerm.

Serves: 3-4

Preparation time: 5 min. maximum

This is a really great snack for me and my kids (even my 6mth old loves it). I used Juciy Juice harvest with orange and mango, I also added the frozen strawberries with fresh peaches and bananas and it was awesome! Thanks so much, I will definitely use this more often and I think DH would like to add his workout protein to it.  Thumbs Up
