Wonderful cookies, even without the coconut and chips. Even my butter and vegan sugar loving mother raved about em! Thanx for the great recipe.

I just made these cookies...they are absolutely incredible! I didn't make them with the coconut but they turned out wonderfully. This is a definate 5 star recipe. They are moist and chewy and the best vegan oatmeal cookie I have ever tried. This will be one of the cookies that I make for my holiday cookie baking. YUM!

These cookies are great...they even satisfied those who think of veggie cooking as tasteless and unadaptable to traditional desserts:-)

I just tried this recipe and it is the best! This recipe is very easy to make and the cookies are delicious! They are very soft and chewey, and very sweet! (but not too much:) I highly recommend this recipe, I will definatly make these again-and again-and again!

These are delicious! I recommend flattening them out in patties instead of the typical mound, because they do not really flatten out as regular cookies do. They are very tasty & easy to make though. I skipped the coconut & chocolate chips .... I bet they'd be great with raisins, though.

I just made these cookies using arrowroot powder in place of the cornstarch and raisins instead of chocolate chips. They were absolutely excellent. My husband couldnt stop eating them. They were tender, full of flavor, and just sweet enough. Also, they weren't greasy like so many cookies can be. As others have said before, the coconut added a nice touch.I've already added this recipe to the regular rotation book.

I thought these cookies tasted like canola oil. I think they would taste much better with melted Earth Balance instead. Also, more cinnamon

I am going to try these with carob chips or raisins in place of chocolate chips!

I just made these last night and they turned out wonderful! I followed the recipe exactly, but didn't bother with the carob chips. They look a little pale, but they taste great! The coconut adds a nice touch. Even my anti-everything-vegan paren'ts said they were delicious. Thanks for a great recipe

This cookie baked into a great consistency. I doubled the cinnamon and used Earth Balance instead of oil. The sweetness was perfect.

These cookies were amazing:) I love the taste of the coconut. I have made them twice , the first time using the recommended amount of cinnamon, and then reducing the amount to 1/2 tsp. I found the cinnamon a little overpowering... They were perfect, I'll make these again and again. Thanx!

I thought that these cookies were great! I added one mashed banana to them, and it was awesome too! Everyone in my house loved them too. Thank you

This is my favourite oatmeal cookie I have ever eaten. Its light so its not extremely filling and it had no margarine, so its not packed with fat. I love it so much, that I have not even bothered looking for another vegan oatmeal cookie. Thank you so so much

I've never had good luck with home-made whole wheat cookies...but I just had to give these a try....and I'm glad I did! Theyre great! They win the coveted SirFartsAlot Easy-Enough-For-A-Bachelor Recipe Award!

These cookies were super easy and tasty. I used a half tsp of cinnamon, earth balance instead of canola and omitted the chocolate. Very addictive!

[!!] Scrumptious! Substitued 3/4 sugar for 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup maple syrup, added a dash of nutmeg, 1/4 tsp. allspice and 1 mashed ripe banana. Would make perfect muffins! My non-veg roomate likes to to butter them. *****

I am not a veg-head, and the cookies are GREAT!! thanks for the recipe! my only problem was that i dropped a tray of cookies!! i will just have to make more!

I was a little disappointed with this recipe. It was very yummy, but very crumbly and dry. I am not able to use sugar, so I substituted with Stevia...is that why they turned out so dry?

Very good! I made them with dairy-free margarine (1/4 c.) instead of oil, and raisins instead of chocolate chips. I also used only 1/2 c. whole wheat flour, and the rest all purpose flour. I didn't use coconut, so I added an extra 1/4 c. oats because the batter seemed too wet. Next time I will add more spice--nutmeg, ground cloves, and more cinnamon--because they were a bit bland. Maybe brown sugar would help too! The consistency and texture are great though! I agree with others to flatten them a little prior to baking. I will definitely make these again (but with the aforementioned changes)!

These were great! I used golden raisins instead of chocolate chips. The coconut really made these cookies better than I expected-consistency & taste were just right-

nice. i omitted the coconut, added a 1/2 cup bran and replaced the chocolate chips with raisins. (we can handle a lot of fiber in my house...careful) i also added some ground cloves, nutmeg, and cayenne pepper just because i can't seem to make anything without some extra ka-pow. they came out well, but sweet...maybe less Sucanat next time? thanks for the recipe! the cornstarch-in-water egg replacement is great.

This recipe was great! Instead of canola oil, I used 1/3 of a cup plum puree (1 1/3 cup dried plums and 6 tablespoons of hot water to make plum puree). I also used about 3/4 tablespoon of cinnamon (maybe a little bit more), cranberries instead of chocolate chips, and left out the coconut. The cookies turned out great! I'll most definitely be using this recipe again!
