Vanilla Banana Smoothie

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

1 cup (8 oz) non fat soy milk
1 banana cut into chunks and frozen
    1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions:

Put all ingredients into blender and blend! This is so yummy and healthy, only about 200 calories!

Serves: 1

Preparation time: 5 min

That sounds great.  I do a similar thing with rice milk, banannas, ginger, cinnanon, maybe a bit of nutmeg

This makes a nice base for a smoothie of whatever you have in the house. I added cinnamon, and then after the picture was taken, some isotonix vitamin-y things. Pretty good, but kind of thin for me. Less milk next time.

I made this in attempt to include more bananas in my diet by making this for a post work out smoothie. I don't really like bananas but this turned out better than expected. I also added a tad almond extract and lots of cinnamon.
