Anti Frappuccino

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

    1 cup coffee (expresso preferably)
1/2 cup soy milk (I use White Wave creamer, works great)
    1 tablespoon sugar
2-3 tablespoon vegan chocolate syrup (optional for mocha)
    ice cubes

Directions:

Blend well and drink.

Serves: 2

Preparation time: 10 min.

I do this at home...use vegan non-dairy creamer with the soymilk...its just yummy...

I thought a frappuccino was supposed to be thick...?? Oh well, maybe that was my fault or whatnot, but this turned out pretty good!! I didn't measure anything, just went by the size of my mug, and i didn't have chocolate syrup so i made my own by melting some dark chocolate chips (vegan of course)and blending it with water. This needed, howe'ver MUCH more than what it called for in sugar!! I prefer to use noncalorie sweetener, and had to keep adding packets! but i loved the foam that it created... reminded me of the espresso we always drank in italy Shocked)

the absolute /best/ frappucino knockoff i have made is:  1 cup any flavor oats cream 2 shots of esspresso several 1 inch segments of frozen banana chcolate syrup (optional) vegan chocolate covered esspresso beans (shouldn't be optional ;P) if this is not thick enough add more oatscream or frozen banana. its far better for you than ice Wink

This didn't work out for me. I just get this huge floating mass of crushed ice. Sad

I love this recipe!

But I make mine with cocoa powder instead of syrup (because I never buy it). I don' t measure but I think I use closer to 1 cup of soymilk as well.

I usually add stevia for sweetener.

It is so good!

I use Ethical Bean (Ethiopian) coffee in mine. It's the only fair-trade, organic, shade-grown coffee, that I actually like.
