Better Hash Browns

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

1 frozen bag of hash browns
    braggs
    nutritional yeast
    pepper
    olive oil

Directions:

Pour enough braggs and olive oil in the skillet to cover the bottom. Pour the whole bag of hash browns in.

Cook them until the potatoes are unfrozen and add a tablespoon or two of nutritional yeast.  Add a couple teaspoons of pepper.

If you like your hash browns with ketchup, use ketchup.  But I thought it hid the taste.

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Was looking for a simple recipe and decided to make these tonight. Not the healthiest, of course, but very tasty and a great snack. My 21 month old son loved them. I think that next time I'll mix in some frozen peas, carrots, and corn (to make it a bit healthier for my son).

Thanks Kelsi,

This was yum!  The flavor was great.  Mine were pretty wet in the pan I was using, so I turned them out onto a cast iron griddle.  They were perfect.  Crunchy on the outside, yummy on the inside!

hahahahaha, I remember this night. I was extremely wasted and our friends dropped us off at my house and my sister was saying how hungry she was and that she wanted breakfast. I stole my roommates frozen hashbrowns and she was super into this. It hella hit the spot
