Yum yum yum! These were amazing and easy! I added some corn salsa and garlic powder before making the patties. I had no problem with them sticking, either.

If you can't convince them, confuse them.

Very Good!
I made them just like the recipes says, except I omitted cracker crumbs and just added some more fried onions....I also added a squirt of BBQ sauce for more moisture....
I put the beans, bread, and fried onions in the food processor - it was super easy!
Grilled them in the George Foreman....held together perfectly, unlike most veggie burgers I've made....

This was delicious! I added cumin, ground coriander, paprika, and garlic powder; and omitted crackers. I had it on a homemade rye bun (from vegan dad's post) with ketchup and dijon... so good! Also a side of oven fries dipped in BBQ!

The first one done seemed like it would hold together perfect, then it started to squish out everywhere. So the others I cooked for longer (like 15+ minutes on med/med low heat) and they were beauties! Haven't eaten them yet, but they held together going in the tupperware! Very tasty!  Grin Try cooking a bit longer on each side if yours are falling apart!

i made these with "seasoned" canned black beans (i'm not sure what it was seasoned with; the ingredients list only referred vaguely to "spices") so i didn't think i needed to add other spices, which ended up being not really correct. i think rinsing the beans washed off most of those "spices" so next time i'll add some of my own.

also i took it up a notch and cooked these on the grill which i highly recommend. the only problem i had with this method was that they came out a little dry on the outside (although the inside was perfect) so next time i might brush them with oil or something, although they were still good as they came out. i would definitely make these again!

Very close to this Black Bean Recipe, but minor changes to make it possible to improvise with the recipe.

I think I just added too much bread to these, or not enough water when I should have added more. I baked them instead of frying them, and they sort of fell apart and got really dry... they still taste good in the centers which didn't dry out too bad. I'll definitely be trying these again, though, because the middles of the patties I made were DELICIOUS. Nomming on them now.
