dawnwill@nwu.eduGarlic Tofu DipIngredients (use vegan versions): 1 pkg. extra firm tofu
1/3 cup mellow white miso
1-2 cloves crushed garlic
1-2 tablespoon chopped onion
2 tablespoon brown rice vinegar
1-2 tablespoon mirin or vegan sugar
dash of sesame oil
dash of cayenne pepper
Directions:Mash tofu. Combine other ingredients; mix well. Add to tofu and mix until blended. Delicious with vegan crackers!
Note: Silken tofu, drained and pressed, works well too.
Serves: 4
Preparation time: 15 min.

This recipe IS great. Needs more garlic. One can never consume too much garlic

This recipe works very well, I altered it a bit, I sauteed the onions, with some fresh red peppers for color, added a touch of nutmeg, processed it in a food processor, and served it warm.......mmmmmmmmm Thanks for the started recipe!!

Not to sound harsh, but I tried this recipe and it did not turn out well.
