I live in Iowa City, IA, which I imagined would be a veritable wasteland in terms of veggie places, but... lo and behold: The Red Avocado. I think someone mentioned it ages ago in this post, but I have to say it is the most delicious place EVAR.  Cheesy  A lot of their food is local and seasonal, so the menu varies accordingly. Their coconut corn soup is epic. And the "Bomb Veggieburger" is a recipe I'm dyyyying to steal from them. Haha. It's a completely organic vegan restaurant with awesome catering and meal-delivery options. http://theredavocado.com/  Thumbs Up

Masala Indian Vegetarian Cuisine (http://www.masalaiowacity.com/ ) offers vegetarian and vegan meals, but I haven't had the chance to sample it. I've heard it's quite good, but don't take MY word for it. Come check it out.  Tongue

Thai Flavors (http://www.thaiflavors.net/menu.html) does take-out as well as eat-in dining, and is all vegetarian as far as I know.

Fairgrounds is a nifty little coffeeshop/cafe with an awesome deal: apparently EVERYTHING on their menu can be made vegan! http://www.fairgroundscoffeehouse.com/

If you're looking for fast food that's still vegetarian and somewhat healthy, there's 2 Pita Pits here, with falafels, babaganoush, and some other options. I doubt it's vegan-friendly, but I'd have to check on that.

So, if you're ever in the area, there are several vegetarian and vegan places to check out. Smiley I HIGHLY recommend the Red Avocado. Smiley

There's a new restaurant called My Vegan that opened up in a little strip mall in Pasadena, CA.

Has anybody heard of it or tried it?

Youngstown OH: The Flaming Ice Cube, awesome little vegan cafe with really good sammitches + vegan 'smores.

Akron OH: Vegiteranean, Crissy's new vegan restuarant, good but expensive.

Not much else here Sad

Worcester, England:

A wonderful Mexican restaurant called Chesters: not vegetarian/vegan, but provides loads of vegetarian and vegan options. Portions are HUGE!
http://www.chestersrestaurant.co.uk/

A little cafe in the indoor market hall called the Karmic Cafe, a vegetarian menu with plenty of vegan options.
http://www.thekarmiccafe.co.uk/index.htm

And in the Malvern Hills, 7 miles from Worcester (and I do mean IN the hills - to get there you will earn your cake!)

St Anns Well Cafe
http://www.hillsarts.co.uk/stannswell/index.html

Take a few empty bottles and you can fill them up with fresh Malvern spring water, pumped straight from one of the springs.

A couple of people have mentioned Boston already but i'll throw in my two cents:

I live in Allston which isn't necessarily the sort of place you'd go to as a tourist, but because there's a ton of students and Asian immigrants, there's lots of veg options
-Everyone loves TJ Scallywaggles, which is gone now but another vegan pizza restaurant is in its place. I haven't been there yet so I can't say whether they're as good as TJ's
-The Grasshopper Asian restaurant next door is a no-brainer (get the No Name, seriously!)
-The Sunset Grill isn't a vegan restaurant but they do have a lot of veg options which are clearly marked on the menu, plus they have like a billion kinds of beer, so I would go there even if I couldn't eat any of the food Wink
-The Super 88 food court in Packard's Corner has 8 or 10 different Asian restaurants, many of which offer veg options served in large quantities for cheap! The attached supermarket is also a great place to expand your food horizons (just don't go to the meat section!)
-Harrells (now apparently known as the Allston Cafe?) on the corner of Brighton and Harvard Aves is ground zero for Allston hipsters and therefore has many delicious vegan pastries and coffee drinks
-Ditto for Bagel Rising on Comm Ave for vegan bagel sandwiches
-There are many shabu restaurants in Allston which are a good option for dining out with omnis

Also other places in Boston:
-The Greater Boston Buddhist Cultural Center on Mass Ave in Cambridge offers lunch in their tea room most days that is vegan and cheap, plus you get to have lunch with Buddhist monks. Also, they have "Dinner with Dharma" every friday, where for like $10 or $15 they have a totally vegan Chinese buffet followed by a medetation session and a discussion on some aspect of Buddhist culture and religion. I've gone a couple of times and it's a pretty cool way to get a yummy vegan dinner and learn something you didn't know!
-Veggie Planet in Cambridge
-The Other Side Cafe (also not specifically veg*n but many veg options and staffed entirely by hipsters)
-Trident Cafe on Newbury (ditto)
-Anna's Taqueria in Coolidge Corner in Brookline and Filipes Taqueria in Harvard Square are solid burrito restaurants that have vegan options (you have to ask for vegetarian rice specifically but it's readily available) and that aren't soulless corporate chains

There is also a raw vegan restaurant in the North End called Grezzo. I've never been there but it's pretty exciting to know it's there.

I really doubt that you'll ever come to Laramie, WY, but there are a couple fantastic options. Sweet Melissa's is a Vegatarian Cafe with tons of vegan choices. Also a place called Jeffery's Bistro has lots of vegan/vegatarian options.
Jeffery's tends to work out a little better for my friends, because they have some dishes that include meat. They have this awesome make-your-own-salad thing and there are soo many choices on there, and best of all, they serve the salads in huge salad bowls, so it's easy to mix around. I love their Thai Salad with tofu and spicy peanut dressing. In the beginning, it's not spicy at all, but near the end, it's quite spicy!
Sweet Melissa's has wonderful food, some of my favorites are very simple, like the grilled hummus sandwich or the falalfal. They also always have a couple vegan deserts like the peach raspberry cobbler, that I swear "sparkles" in my mouth with every bite.
People wouldn't normally consider Wyoming to be very veg friendly, but Laramie seems to have quite a few places with a least a couple dishes made without animal product. Lovely place!
