I knew you'd agree.

Or you could make a picture book/story book or something.

I would be worried about getting someone book(s) he/she already had/read?

Yes.  You need to stop sending people copies of Natural Harvest.

That's a really good idea! I never would have thought to check Amazon.com wish lists! Smiley

Algae... Don't worry, I don't have a gazillion dollars either and I'm sure there are lots of others in the same boat. I know that whatever you do send will be much appreciated by whoever receives it. Smiley

This looks like such a great exchange! Unfortunately I won't be back in the UK until late August so I will miss this one. Looking forward to see what everyone gives and receives though Smiley

yeah, I think we'll have to be extra creative with the book sending stuff. It would be so nice if everyone kept a list of everything they've read. my bf does this, and he rates them 1-5 and writes a little comment, which is always hilarious. but it doesn't have everything he's read, just the books since he started the list. I should start doing that. I don't want someone to give me a book I already know that I want to read because I can just get it myself. I think that what's nice about this is that hopefully we can discover a new author or something that someone else loves that we didn't know about before. but yeah, that's hard :-/

the gifter could ask for a general list if they need it, or the recipient can post the link to their wishlist, etc. it's nice to think that each person could be creative and give the recipient something really good, but *some* people on here are bookworms and have already read tons of things (not me). Maybe just up to the individual's discretion?

personally, i'm fine with something off my wishlist or something creative or hand-me-down, whatever. and if it's off my wishlist, it can definitely be bought used!

I do this on 'goodreads' - well, it's been a while since I updated it, but that's also because I haven't been reading that much recently....
but my person would have to log into my account to see my lists....
If my person wants to, ask Lauren to email me and I'll give you my info
