For Christmas time I guess I'd have to say sugar cookies, but oatmeal cookies would probably be my overall favorite.  I really hope I win this one b/c since recovering from my eating disorder I've rarely had sweets of any kind but want to start feeling comfortable with having them on occasion, I feel as long as I have a little like one or two sweets a week or so I should be fine... its been waaaayyyy too long!

I love colored sugar cookies, especially with the sugar sprinkles on top.   Smitten  I'd love to win a cookbook - I've never won anything before and I just love cookbooks. Thanks for having a giveaway! ak

Hmm... any cookie that contains chocolate and/or mint, or some form of ginger.

My favorite cookie is chocolate chip....but at the Holidays I like the German ones my mom used to buy from the German store.  She's born and raised in Bavaria and these remind me of her.  (Not sure of the veganess of them though, going to have to find out.)

My favorite holiday cookie is classic chocolate chip, but with a few sprinkles of mint extract added to the dough!  Yum  Smiley

My grandmother's date cookies.  Walnuts, dates, shredded coconut, crispy rice cereal... mmm!  During the holidays I always ask for her to make me a tin full of them.

Oh, this thread makes me so excited for the holidays!

Hey, this cookie sounds awesome!  Would you consider posting the recipe on vegweb?

oh man i dont think I can pick... it's probably ginger snaps (especially dipped in tea or soymik!) but peanut butter, snickerdoodles & oatmeal choc chip ones are also great.

Oooh, I want this.  BAD.

While I don't discriminate against any type of cookie, my favorite holiday choice would have to be...  Russian Tea Cakes.  Sugary, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth goodness.

My favorite holiday cookie goes by a number of names, including Russian tea cakes, Mexican wedding cakes, and butterballs. Mmmm...
