Easy Dilly Beer BreadIngredients (use vegan versions): 3 cups unbleached flour, sifted
2 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder, sifted
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons (or more) freshly chopped dill
12 ounces warm beer of your choice
Directions:1) Lightly Oil a 9" pie pan and set aside. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2) In a bowl, stir together sifted flour and baking powder, sugar, salt and dill. Add the beer last as it will be difficult to "stir" afterward, but make sure it is mixed well. The dough will be lumpy, this is normal. Place it somewhat evenly in the center of the pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted and the top is golden brown. Allow to cool, slice and serve.
Delicious when paired with hummus, but is good by itself too!
