Easy Green BeansIngredients (use vegan versions): Fresh green beans
Olive oil
Good balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper
Directions:1) Snap (or cut) ends off green beans, and rinse. I like to keep them whole for this (not snapped in half).
2) Put a small pot of water on to boil. Add salt. I like to boil the green beans for this preparation, but you can steam them. For boiling, add beans to boiling water, stir, and boil until tender, but still firm. This takes about 8 minutes. Drain water from beans, and add back to pot.
3) Sprinkle with olive oil to cover all beans, as well as balsamic vinegar. Toss with tongs. Be generous with salt and pepper. Toss again. I like to eat them just like this!
