Chinese ColeslawIngredients (use vegan versions): 1 cup white or napa cabbage, shredded
1 large carrot, grated
1/4 cup shredded daikon radish
1 teaspoon sesame oil
3 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoons agave nectar
2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
spring onions, to garnish
Directions:1) Toss all ingredients vigorously, let stand for 15 minutes and eat!
I came back from Koreatown on a mission to recreate this amazingly fresh, marinated little side dish that the waitress brought to our table at lunch.
I think this is it! I've had three bowls since yesterday and I don't want to stop!
A word of warning, though-- the amounts may not be exact... I always just throw everything together without measuring.
