Spinach Rolls w/ Homemade Marinara SauceIngredients (use vegan versions): Rolls:
2/3 cup spinach
6 packages vegan crescent roll dough
salt
Marinara Sauce:
10oz tomatoes puree or chunky
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon thyme
1/8 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:Spinach Rolls:
Pre heat oven at 350 degrees Farenheit. Make the crescents into a rectangle, I cut off the corner of the larger side and put it on the smaller side. Put the spinach on top of the dough. I used canned spinach cause that was all I had in the pantry, if you use canned be sure to drain it. Salt it if you want. Roll them up and put them in a muffin pan. Cook for 17 minutes.
Marinara Sauce:
Put all the ingredients in a sauce pan on med heat bring to a boil. Or put it in a glass bowl and put it in the microwave for about 45 seconds
