SleekIngredients (use vegan versions): 1 1/2 cups cooked black eyed peas
1 1/2 pounds kale, washed and chopped
1/2 cup bulgur wheat
1 diced onion
1/2 cup olive oil
2 cups water
Directions:Heat beans in water to a medium heat, then add kale, cover, and cook for five minutes.
Rinse the bulgur and add it to the saucepan.
Stir well and drain with a colander, then set aside.
Fry onions in olive oil until browned, then add the mixture you had set aside.
Cook over low heat for five minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
