Super Easy Asparagus!

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

    1 lb asparagus
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1/4 cup nutritional yeast
    1 tablespoon garlic powder

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Wash the asparagus, and cut off the ends. Snap the stalks in half and place in a ziploc bag or some sort of container with a lid. Add olive oil, nutritional yeast, and garlic powder, and shake it all up.

Pour it all out onto a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes. Enjoy! Now wasn't that easy?

*Obviously this recipe is really easy to tweak. You can add any other spices you like. You can also scale it down, I often make just one portion and bake it in the toaster oven. Have fun!*

Serves: 2

Preparation time: 20 minutes

OMG!  This was amazing!  I am definately making this again!  I wonder if it can go with other vegetables rather than asparagus?  I used garlic salt rather than garlic powder.  I can't believe that I ate a whole bunch of asparagus, as in one of those bunches you buy at the grocery store wrapped up in rubber bands.  I loved this, thank you so much for the recipe.  I wish I had taken a picture now.

Oh my gosh, I can't believe there aren't more reviews on this.  So simple, and soooo tasty!  I used frozen asparagus (all I had) and this came out amazingly good for being so easy.  I first mixed the asparagus with the olive oil and a little bit of lemon juice, then sprinkled the nut yeast and about 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt on it, making sure it all got some, and baked for about 15 minutes or so.  Yummy, easy way to do asparagus.  Thanks!  Oh yeah, and I just left mine whole.  =)

This was simple and delicious.  I put some mushroom halves in the oven as well, and they all turned out spectacular.

I just love this recipe.  Its a winner every time.  I like to add a bit of salt and pepper.  Its very easy and extremely delicious.  I've made this about 6-7 times already.  Infact, its in the oven now and I can't wait (drooling).  Thanks for posting this dish!
