Okay, so I messed with the main ingredients... I had neither dried cranberries nor oat flour. I substituted the closest things I could get - dried currants and barley flour.
This was the first time I've ever made 'cookies'. I made biscuits when I was little - that is, what New Zealanders and Brits call biscuits, like a crunchy cookie. Anyway, they were well worth the experiment. Yummy, soft and chewy, a nice change from muffins. And very different to biscuits.

P.S. I was glad to find a recipe which called for oil instead of heaps of vegan margarine, because mine is so expensive.
