Does anyone else have/love/adore Crocs?  I have the Athens flip flops, have probably had them for a year and they're still in great condition.  But DIRTY!  I take them into the shower with me and scrub them with soap but I can't seem to get them clean.  Anyone have any secrets?

I'm glad you brought this up, I have a pair of white/pink flip flop crocs and also cannot get them clean.  Sad

they're so ugly, yet so comfy.

I used to have a pair of white flip flops. The only way I could get them clean was bleach and a scrub brush

Does the bleach turn them yellow-ish?  That is my fear with bleach.

Yes.  Isn't that true with most ugly things?  Sigh.

Good idea, I'll give that a try.  Need to find a scrubbing implement that's NOT my toothbrush though!

You should just go buy a cheap-o toothbrush. They are awesome for cleaning shoes.

I love my Crocs too. I have a pair of the Beach model in navy and the Cleo model in aqua. Both pairs are so so comfy. I try to clean mine before they get too gross and really don't know the best method. A word of caution about the dishwasher: online I read that if they go through the drying cycle they shrink so much they will never fit you.

I used baking soda.  It helped quite a bit.  I'm guessing if they weren't white and I'd been scrubbing them all along, it would be great.
thanks Hannah!

i just wanna know how you guys could stand those things, i mean,i have the weirdest taste in things but i still don't understand how those things could be in vogue

Different weird things appeal to the different weird tastes of different weird people.  Cheesy  Consider Ugg boots and even Birkinstocks. Personally, I find spiked heels weird. Different strokes for different folks, as they say.  Cool

It's all about comfort, really, as I said before, they're quite ugly in my book.  Wink

Agreed, they are the only flip flops that don't make my back hurt after a while.  In Florida I pretty much wear flip flops exclusively.  I know they're crazy ugly, but they're comfortable and intelligently designed.  And they last forever!
