Sweet and Spicy Curried Miso Glaze

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

    1/2 cup agave nectar
    2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
2 tablespoons (or to taste) red curry paste (I used Thai Kitchen)
2 teaspoons - 1 Tablespoon miso paste, I used mellow brown miso
splash of Braggs Liquid Aminos (soy Tamari Shoyu etc) or 1/4 teaspoon or so

Directions:

Combine all ingredients on a bowl and whisk until smooth.

This is great as a stirfry sauce, Asian BBQ sauce for tofu(!), add some rice vinegar to make salad dressing, marinade etc.

Serves: 1

Preparation time: 10 minutes

agave tastes just like honey, but is a bit thinner in consistency and comes from cacti~good honey substitute. i guess you could boil sugar to make a heavy syrup, or just use straight maple, it will just have more of a deeper maple flavor....let me know how it goes!
