Beans From a Can with a Curry Kick

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

    1 small onion
    2 cloves of garlic, minced
head of Swiss chard(or any dark green veg)
    2 tablespoons curry
    1 teaspoon cumin
    dash of black pepper
2 cans of baked beans in tomato sauce
sesame oil (as much as you like)

Directions:

I thought of the recipe late last night.  I needed to use my Swiss chard up and was feeling like beans.

Wash all veggies.  Chop onions, Swiss chard and mince garlic.

In a pot, when heated,  pour sesame oil in.  Add onions and garlic, let fry until onions are translucent, then add Swiss chard and let fry for about 5 minutes (you don't want your Swiss chard to be soggy just hot).

Add in the beans, curry, cumin, and pepper.  Stir often.

When you see it bubbling it is done.

Enjoy!

Serves: 2 large

Preparation time: 10 minutes

I eat something like this all the time!  I use curry ketchup (which is essentially tomato sauce with garlic and curry added) And beans and greens!  how weird that you do the same thing!

Nice, I gonna try this sometime. Hey, since you are into knitting, do you know how long cotton-season is? I mean till when there's lots of cotton for knitting in stores because as far as I know in winter they mostly got wool but obviously I don't want to knit with wool.

Greetings from Toronto,
