German DogsIngredients (use vegan versions): 1 pkg of veggie dogs
1 medium vidalia onion (sliced)
2 Granny Smith apples (diced)
2 tablespoons caraway seed
1 can sauerkraut
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon sugar
Directions:All the above you can throw into a crock pot and let cook all day if you like. I find it best to put things in there in the morning and then take them out around dinner.
I am German and this meal does it for me. :-) . Potato dumplings go great with this! It’s quick and simple and if you like German food as I do its economical and delicious!
