Great Baby Food

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

    3 medium potatoes
    8 oz. spinach
    2 large cloves garlic

Directions:

Peel and cube potatos. Crush and peel garlic.  Cook potatoes, spinach, and garlic with about 1/2 cup water for about 15 minutes over high heat, or until potatos are soft. Dump it all in a food processor and process until very mushy.

For baby food: I usually freeze in ice-cube trays overnight, then pop out cubes and store in another container in the freezer.

This is really delicious!  I ended up eating more than the baby yesterday.

Serves: 20 (baby)

Preparation time: 20 min

That sounds good and just the thing that is easy to prepare and tasty for baby.  I shall definately be trying this one.  Thanks Debs

DANGER!!! This recipe fine for 1 year+ But could kill an infant !!!!  From national network for child care:  WARNING: Beets and spinach have high concentrations of naturally-occurring nitrates which can reduce the ability of the babys hemoglobin to transport oxygen. Do NOT use these foods at all until the baby reaches his or her first birthday.  For other recipes also remember:  Honey and corn syrup are not safe for infants under the age of 12 months because they may carry botulism spores. The digestive system of a baby cannot destroy these spores.
