Cauliflower with PotatoesIngredients (use vegan versions): 1/2 a head cauliflower
2 potatoes
1 onion
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 bay leaves
2 teaspoon ginger paste
2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 cup green peas
1 jalapeno
2 tablespoon chopped Coriander
a pinch of turmeric
salt to taste
a pinch of sugar
2-3 tablespoon corn oil
Directions:Heat the oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds and the bay leaves. Next add the chopped onion and fry for 6-7 mins. Now add the cauliflower flowerets, cubed potatoes,turmeric and salt.Cook covered for 7-8 mins. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook for 10 more minutes, sprinkling a little water once in a while.
Serves: 2 (?)
