Tofu and Asparagus with Garlic Soy Sauce

What you need:

1 package (12 oz) soft silken tofu (I use Mori Nu)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon water
1/2 teaspoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon oil
4 cloves garlic finely chopped
1/2 lb asparagus chopped and steamed

What you do:

Put uncooked tofu into serving dish with cooked, chopped asparagus over it and set aside. Mix soy sauce, sugar, vinegar and water together and set aside. Heat oil in frying pan. Add garlic and saute until golden brown. Add soy sauce mixture to pan and heat 20-30 sec. Pour garlic-soy sauce mix over tofu and asparagus. Serve with brown rice.
My mom makes this for me all the time. Its so good and easy to make. Dont be turned off by the uncooked tofu. It seems like a lot of garlic but sauteing until its brown gives it a less garlicy flavor.
