Awesome Vegan Ranch Dressing

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

1/2 cup soy milk (Edensoy vanilla or regular flavour)
1/2 cup soy vegan mayonnaise (Nasoya Nayonaise)
    1 teaspoon onion powder
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    2-3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon dried or fresh parsley (finely chopped)
    salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in food processor.  I use vanilla flavored soy milk. Sounds unusual, but it tastes great.

This recipe tastes totally like the regular Ranch dressings on shelves in supermarkets. Everybody loves it and they all want the recipe hearing that it is vegan and sooo much healthier for you. I use it on salads, brown rice, baked potatoes, steamed veggies and a little thicker (add a bit more Nayonaise) as a veggie dip for raw vegetables. For the vegetable dip I omit the red wine vinegar.

Makes: 6 servings, Preparation time: 3 minutes

Thank you!  I have been trying to make something that would resemble ranch dressing and so far this comes the closest.  Or maybe that's because I can't really remember what ranch dressing used to taste like.  haha!  Really, this is good.  (I used Nayonaise--by the way)  Thanx!!

Oh my gosh...this was DELICIOUS!!!!!  Its a great base dressing as well.  I just left out the parsely and added a little extra garlic and some cucumber for Cucumber Garlic Ranch Dressing...very yummy!  I also added extra veganaise to make it just a tiny bit thicker.  This dressing gets a 5 star rating from me!

There is another recipe on here that is almost the exact same and I have made both and...maybe its just me but I thought it was disgusting. I must be doing something wrong. I've made it twice and tried to figure out why everyone else likes it but...I don't know.

This IS a really good base dressing.  Howe'ver, I wouldn't use as much vinegar as it says to use.  I would add it to flavor and I would also try to use something that thickens the dressing.  I used vegan cream cheese and soy milk coffee creamer and it came out great.  My husband has been vegan for almost three years and he thought it did taste like ranch.

This is very good!  I made it with just 1 T. vinegar as suggested.  It was just a little too garlicky for me, so next time I will cut that down a little.  I love the taste and I love that it is so easy to make!  No more store-bought salad dressings for me!

Oh this was so good, just what I wanted, and all the ingredients were on hand. It was so easy, but the only problem is that if you don't eat it right away it gets kinda fizzy.  Thanks though I willl for sure make this again!

So good! I added cucumber too, but used a bit of lemon juice instead of the vinegar. Loved it and will definitely keep making it!

i thought that this wasn't a bad dressing but to me it just wasn't ranch like i remembered it. it didn't have the same bite to it. not bad to play around with though.

This recipe is deeeelliiccioouus!!  It's the closest I have found yet!  I put a little less soy milk in so it was thicker, but still very yummy!

This recipe was very tasty! I would'nt call it ranch though, more like blue cheese or something like that. I used 1/4c org silk soymilk and 1Tbsp ren wine vinegar. I'll have to mess around with this recipe a bit.

I decided to make half a recipe just to try it and  I was pleasantly surprised. It was so creamy and very ranch-like! I used regular Soy Dream with Vegenaise. It was perfect for dipping cut up veggies and pouring over salad.

This is very good, and pretty close to the store ranch dressings (at least, as I remember them tasting).  I've made it a few times now, and this last time I added some bac'n bits before I blended it all together for a bacon ranch.  Amazing.  I keep it in the fridge in an old salad dressing bottle I cleaned out - a double batch of this ranch fills the bottle with a bit extra to spare.

I thought this dressing was very ranch like and delicious,  the secret may be to use fresh parsley and 2 tbls. of good quality red wine vinager.  Ive tried a couple of times to make ranch with alot more ingredients and they were so gross, in the words of my seven year old,  so maybe she will like this one.  Oh I also used silk plain and Nasoya,  way better than the bottle of ranch I just bought at the health food store that I paid almost 5$ for!!

I am so excited!  This was awesome!  I made two different versions...one regular and one spicy and both are amazing.  I used to live on ranch dressing...I dipped everything in it and I've been so sad without it....but now, I have my vice back.  Thank you so much!

I guess I forgot to review this....but I didn't like it all that much for a salad. Mine came out sweet for some reason..but I used regular soymilk. I also added too much garlic powder...it was pretty good on a baked potato though!

oooh we made this for a salad, and it turned out awesome! I was a little skeptical for being such a ranch lover, but it was great! I need to tweak it a little to make it perfect but great start.

i also mixed some louisiana hot sauce!! to make it a buffalo ranch dip!

Wow!!! this is a great recipe for Ranch Dressing!  I cut back a little on the red wine vinegar to make it less strong.  This is the best Ranch I've had so far since going vegan.  Thanks! Thumbs Up

This is so very scrumptious!!  I loooooved it.  I used 2 Tbls of vinegar & thought it was a bit too vinegary.  I will use only 1 Tbls next time.  I only added soymilk to downplay the vinegar.  Otherwise, I don't think I would have added any.  I've already added it to 2 different kinds of salads & a veggie burger.  Yum - think I'll go eat some more now.

Thanks for posting this awesome recipe!  Smiley
