Clints High Energy Quick Cereal

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

    1/2 cup uncooked Quaker Oatmeal
    1/2 cup Grapenuts cereal
    1/4 cup raisins
    1 Tablespoon Kretschmers Wheat germ
    1 cup rice milk (or soy milk)

Directions:

Put all ingredients in a cereal bowl and stir.  Its delicious and full of carbohydrate energy!

Serves: 1.

Preparation time: 1 minute.

Nutrition Information: Using rice milk:  Calories      625 Calories from Fat   60 Total Fat      6 grams Cholesterol      0 mg Sodium         450 mg Protein         17 grams Total Carbohydrate   136 g Sugars         49g .


This sounds great but I live in Australia and could you please tell me what sort of cereal grapenuts are??? We may have something similar. Thanks!!

This sounds great, I love both oatmeal and grapenuts!  To the lady who said that the grapenuts are like gravel, you may try popping this in the microwave for 30seconds like I did, its great warm and soft too!  This is my new standard breakfast--thanks, Clint! : -)

Grapenuts is a wheat and barley cereal. It is called that because it was the nickname of the creator. Anyways, there like little hard clumps or beads of cereal. You can go to http://www.kraftfoods.com/postcereals/gngnf.html to find more info on it

I love this breakfast! Also try warming in the microwave for 1 minute then adding fresh banana slices. Yummy!
