What movie would you like to live in?

We all have days when reality gets a little tight and uncomfortable, when you'd love to just live some other life for awhile. So what movie would you like to live in?

I'd go for Jeremy Brett's version of The Hound of the Baskervilles. Nobody but the bad guy gets hurt, justice is done, and the houses are gorgeous. I'd love to live in an isolated Stately Home on the moors right about now.

What about you?

M. Night Shyamalan's The Village.  The simple life appeals to me.

Harry Potter.  I would totally feel at home in Hogwarts, of course I'd have to be younger, and not a muggle.

I can't believe I forgot about this movie.

ETA: I'd rather live in the books.

Do animated movies count? Cuz' if they do, I would like to live in pretty much any Hayao Miyazaki film.  :)>>>

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

For several months, as a child, I "lived" in the factory as seen in the original film.
I haven't actually seen the one with Johnny Depp...I hope it isn't a musical.
I saw the tail-end of it last night on TV (satellite) and his character's makeup made me think of Michael Jackson...

I was gonna say the original Chocolate Factory too!! Even though the Oompa Loompas scare me, all that candy would make it worth it (:

Yabbit, I did not like the new Johnny Depp one. Gene Wilder will always be Willy Wonka to me. It wasn't musical-y though.

Most of the movies I have watched and liked, there is no way in hell I'd want to live anywhere near them, definitely not in!
so I'll just carry on reading other people's preferences and googling the results : )

Lost in Translation
also Dazed and Confused. I didn't realize how many people loved that movie.

The remake SUCKED in a really big way.  I usually like Johnny Depp, but this was just terrible......horrible.......atrocious......

"The 'Burbs"

It may sound odd, but here me out. Everyone in that movie had so much freaking leisure time. Let the interesting things happen to other folks, I'll just take the seemingly endless vacation time.

Or maybe I'd be a pizza delivery guy in a certain genre... nah.

Oh I love The 'Burbs!  That would be a great movie to live in considering I've recently taken to spying on my neighbors.  I'd fit in nicely!

Sarah, I am going to a Winter Faire in Feb that has the theme Alice in Wonderland!  I still havent picked out or started making my garb for it! Eeek

If I were to live in a movie I would totally be a random person in The Fifth Element.  Just because the world is so neat.  Also Pirates of the Caribbean but you all knew that one.

I am sure there are more but I cant think of any this morning but I love reading everyone else's!
