What do you think it will take to make the world go vegan?

for people to "want" to know what they are stuffing in their face... most people don't want to think about it

The world? Nuclear apocalypse. The human population? A slow but certain spreading of awareness sparked by quiet but persistent grassroots activism.

I'm gonna haveta agree with humboldt_honey here and say much higher prices for animal products. That wouldn't make the world vegan but it would be the closest thing plausible.

A mass viewing of Earthlings might make the number of vegans higher...but getting the whole world vegan...personally I can't see it happening any time soon.

Yeah, it's pretty clear animal products are detrimental to health. It's just the majority of the world is unwilling to admit that, especially when the big meat/dairy lobbies encourage false scientific data via bribery.

Good points. I agree I do believe most people would become vegans if they realized what they were eating but still a few wouldn't.
I would really like to know what those few are composed of (their way of thinking in other words)? How i would love to change that.

For the price of meat to be so astronomically high that people will have no choice but to eat green.

My husband and I ask this question all of the time... Information is readily available on the internet, in the libraries, and sometimes on the radio regarding vegetarianism and veganism as an alternative choice to deleting preventable diseases. Human beings in particular don't seem too concerned with the well-being of life other than their own. Like all change in the world, something drastic must happen to stop this slaughtering epidemic that is killing off the masses with preventable diseases.
We share our veganism and our beliefs non-abrasively and willingly. We hope that if people see this, they will see animals as well.
Hoping for peace and vegan diets everywhere.
