Vegan songwriting contest

Calling all musicians (which I decidedly am not! I received this fun contest in my email from a local vegan and thought I'd pass it along:

The goal for you poets and songwriters and lyricists is to match YOUR lyrics with these tunes and rhythms.

When you've completed your entry or entries, send the words along with the name of the song whose MIDI you're writing words to match to the Vegetarian Resource Center at eval(unescape('%64%6f%63%75%6d%65%6e%74%2e%77%72%69%74%65%28%27%3c%61%20%68%72%65%66%3d%22%6d%61%69%6c%74%6f%3a%56%52%43%40%49%56%55%2e%6f%72%67%22%3e%56%52%43%40%49%56%55%2e%6f%72%67%3c%2f%61%3e%27%29%3b'))

Ah,. hundreds of vegan children for decades going forward singing YOUR lyrics, YOUR words, your 2-3 or 4-5 verses of lyrics celebrating vegan values, vegan lifestyles, vegan experiences, and vegan aspirations and hopes.

So what makes a lyric or song good is its historical durability, the timelessness AND timeliness of its lyrics and inspirations, its ability to inspiration present AND future generations going forward for decades, perhaps centuries.

Great religious hymns have inspired for centuries, sometimes for millennia. Vegan values ARE timeless; we're not about Hollywood or celebrities, but rather about deeper and truer, more just AND more sustainable outlooks, insights, values, and hopes and aspirations than the circumstantial.

There's a boat load of songs they suggest from all over the world!
