Skinny B*itch (the book)
Is this book about being vegan?? We buy new vegan cookbooks from amazon like every other week and due to that... this came up on the reccomendation page... Is it about being vegan?? Anyone know? I tried to look but there wasn't any book info.
How funny! I ordered a couple of books today from Amazon.ca and saw Skinny B*tch too. It was on a recommended list for me. I really have no idea if it is for vegans. Hopefully someone on this board will know.
If you search the page for "vegan," you'll see. The reviews give you the key pretty much. Here's one:
"I did not realize when I bought the book it was about becoming a Vegan- NO MEAT, DAIRY, EGGS. If the Vegan lifestyle is not for you then save your money!"
I haven't read the entire book, but i picked it up at a book store a while ago, and it is definitely geared toward helping people lose weight by being healthy. It offers- in my opinion- very sound nutritional advice, but i don't recall if there was a recipe section. Also, it was written in a very fun, entertaining way (as you can tell by the title).
LOL I just realized that I was trying to BLEEP the title for the subject line and I managed to not bleep it at all... just stick a star in there... LOL ::) OOPS. I tried.
Warning Adult Language (gotskates and the rest of you young'uns stop reading now.)
I think the editing will do that for you. Let's see:
Interesting, I listed it all on one line and then on separate lines (the version here.)
I'm going to wash my dirty fingers now. :D
Hi, I have read the book and I highly recommend it. The book is completely about going vegan and it goes about teaching you how to eat healthy in a funny and sassy way. I got all my girl friends and the women in my family to read it, it is especially good for those lady's in your life that are struggling with extra weight and do not eat so good. I know of three people that have converted since reading this book. It also gives you scientific infomation on diet soda's and the other junk we tend to eat/drink. There are references through out the book and a very sad section on animal abuse and why we should never eat meat. The girls that wrote the book did so to try and appeal to the mass audience and to and reach as many people as possible, I think it works!
