Talk about homework Meggs, I've been more than overwhelmed. Thank god I'm single now, my books are practically manifesting another human being with all the energy I've put into reading, studying, and writing about them. I've got to work, I probably cannot go. :(

ILU, are your studies really that bad?!
It's harder than I felt it would be---but the best is yet to come. In a few semesters I'll be taking triple/quadruple science courses and accompanying labs for each...until I get my 80 credit hours for my major done. I think it might be difficult as well because I took a 3 year break. I'm keeping on top of it though. what is ILU? Yes, I think it's so difficult at the moment because I took a year and a half off. You're not only going back after 3 years, you're taking killer difficult classes; here's the best advice I get and it annoys me when i hear it but it's always appropriate:
Be gentle with yourself.
You can do it! Give yourself some time to adjust!

get your homework done girls!! theres going to be vegan hotdog and hamburgers & soy ice cream (i had this brand of ice cream before & it is soooo good) plus softball & maybe kickball i think. Plus the proceeds are going to the ADL! it'll be fun!

you missed a fun time - softball and tons of chicago soy dairy ice cream.. i ate so much - it was amazing though. their cookie dough is better than any real dairy cookie dough ice cream i've ever had.. and i had some triple chocolate brownie flavor too - also ridiculously good. if you see their products at whole foods buy them!!!

Propine, are there many events such as this downtown? Throughout the year? Or are they infrequent and I'll have to wait until next year? :(
not sure, but i did join the veg meetup groups on meetup.com and they seem to have get togethers about once a month.. none of which ive been able to make it to unfortunately. hopefully soon though! you should join too!
I must be blind because I went to the website and didn't see anything about a program in a park ect. What I did see was a site that was obviously a marketing program online.
They had the ad for it a few weeks ago, before the event occurred-- it was saturday the 22nd.
So, since it's over, they took down the ad. and returned to regular programming ;)
yeah if you read the right side of the page where it talks about ryan going to the hospital for his appendix after the end of summer bash... you'd see them reference the end of summer bash fundraiser for the animal defense league/softball game which happened a week ago.
personally, i hate it when websites leave up old event advertisements after the date goes by. makes it look like it's not being maintained.
