Weekly Giveaway: Yes to Blueberries Skin Creams! Winner is KAD!
Well, since I can't shut up about how corn is the king of summer veggies, I thought I'd give some love to the queen of summer fruit, blueberries! Blueberries are delicious little anti-oxidant bombs that are just as tasty as they are good for you. If you're a fan of downing them by the basket, you might also be into slathering them on your face. Yes to Blueberries is a new skin care line by Yes to Carrots (http://www.yestocarrots.com) that's bottling the goodness of blueberries and using them to keep you looking great. For this week's giveaway, we've got Intensive Skin Repair Serum and Overnight Hydrating Cream that'll work miracles while you sleep. You'll wake with glowing skin that's soft as a baby's behind. Yes, please!
To win the goodies let me know your favorite corn recipe!
Giveaway ends on Tuesday, August 18th at midnight, PST! Winner will be chosen at random!
Good luck!

ok, I don't want to win because I've won plenty, but I just like to answer. In the summer I like plain old corn on the cob, and in the winter, I like corn casserole or corn pudding

Corn Roasted Salad! Roasted corn, fresh off the husk. Mixed with roasted onions, roasted squash, and roasted red bell peppers. All topped with a balsamic vinegar dressing, YUMMY! I like it as a dip for my pita chips or on top of veggie burgers or tempeh!
I can't eat it myself, but my husband loves cornbread (which I did too). I like to make him one with fresh corn in the summer, and it's a great place to hide the pulp from juiced veggies, too!
I love just corn on the cob, completely plain. but when I'm all corned out with that I love making Mexican Corn salad with peppers and soyizio to wrap up in a tortilla or on corn chips :)
Roasted corn on the cob, with a squeeze of lime juice and a sprinkle of chili powder.
Corn, Black bean and Quinoa salad! or Corn, Tomato and Avocado salad - similar, but different - and I always use fresh, raw corn - so much better than frozen or canned!
I like to steam corn on the cob in the husk then zip the corn kernels off and saute with a little olive oil, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Yum!!!
Corn on the cob, grilled, covered in Earth Balance and lots of salt.
My mom makes this amazing salad for all her big democratic fundraising parties where you need a lot of food fast: roasted corn, dried cranberries, and pine nuts with olive oil, balsamic, salt, and pepper! so simple, yet such a unique flavor combo!
I LOVE grilled corn on the cob. One of the best parts of summer, that is.
I love fresh corn on the cob-shuck it, put in a large pot with a little boiling water for 7 minutes, and serve with soy garden, sea salt, and freshly ground pepper-YUM!!!
I love corn chowder, corn salsa and well just plain corn on the cob.
Corn muffins, corn bread, and taco soup with lots and lots of corn :)
