Weekly Giveaway: Xan Confections Saintly Sin Collection! ARSeese is the winner!

What goes better with cheese than chocolate? NOTHING. If I could subsist on these two things for the rest of my days (and not die from lack of vitamins and nutrients), I totally would. I would eat a piece of chocolate, and then a piece of cheese, and then a piece of chocolate... you get the idea. One of the best chocolatiers out there right now is Xan Confections. Oh My Goodness, their truffles are To Die For. Literally. Bury me in a box, please. My current favorite are from the Saintly Sins collection (http://xanconfections.com/order/saintly_sins/index.php), and lucky you, we're giving away a 7-piece box of these luscious chocolate truffles to one fabulous VegWebber.

To win the truffles, let me know what your favorite vegan cheese (or chocolate!) is.

Giveaway ends on Tuesday, March 23rd at midnight, PST! Winner will be chosen at random!

Good luck!!

My new favorite chocolate is Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Mint UFOs. YUM!

My favorite "cheese" is nutritional yeast sprinkled on top of whatever I am eating.  I know, not really "cheese" but it is still good.  Daiya was ok but was too processed for me.  My favorite chocolate would be vegan chocolate chips.  I haven't explored the vegan chocolates yet.

My budget-friendly vegan chocolate staple is Trader Joe's semi-sweet chocolate chips. I melt them and get creative on my own!

My favorite is "cheese" is Sheese!
goudda is to die for. it's amazing stuff. i love that its actually hard and in wheel form. it isnt wet like a lot of vegan cheeses i have tried. also, it bubbles, melts, shreds, and even BROWNS in the oven! nom nom nom

and my favorite vegan chocolate (so much better than carob) is from a little store called Aura in my city. it's organic fair-trade dairy-free chocolate chips! they complete my life.

mmmmmmm my favorite began cheese by far would be Dr. Cows. It is like artesian dairy cheese but with nut milk. YUMMY. Slightly expensive but worth it!  I also really like Daiya for grilled cheese and quesadillas etc.

Cheese!  For Sour Cream and Cream Cheese we have been going with the Tofutti  and as for  slices we like Galaxy Nutrional Foods  "Veggie Slices'  Their shredded cheese is good as well.  Chocolate on the other hand,  seems to be a hit or miss.  Why is it so hard to find chocolate with nuts, fruit or caramel?  I don't meam the occassional bar that has two almonds crushed in it.  I mean getting a bar thats loaded.  All I seem to find is one with a "flavoring of orange" or "hot pepper"

Daiya's Cheese...no doubt is my favorite. I ordered 5lbs of cheddar and 5lbs of Mozzarella online and shared it with 5 of my vegan friends...thankfully Whole Foods by me now carries it so I don't need it mailed anymore =)

my favorite cheese is FYH Monterey Jack, but to be fair, I've only had FYH and Teese (which was just ok)....I really want to try Daiya, but am too chicken to order it...

as for chocolate, I'll eat anything that's vegan - I'm a fan of carob too!

I've yet to find an acceptable vegan cheese. Tofutti slices are okay... but I guess the various nutritional yeast cheese sauces will do in a pinch.

I'm sure I would love daiya, but I haven't had it yet.  My fav cheeze spread is one I found in a seventh day adventist cookbook, that I have doctored up a little.
