Hmm I'm not tooooo familiar with tempeh, but the one recipe I did use it in I absolutely loved which was Tempeh Reubens..YUM! Oh also had some pretty good tempeh tacos...

I love it simply marinated and baked in several different kinds of marinade sauces. Mmm!

I like pan frying tempeh with earth balance, barbecue sauce, chili powder, and a little bit of soy sauce.
I know it's probably the first or second thing anyone makes with tempeh, but I still can't beat it in a salad with peanut sauce!
I still haven't found tempeh that I like. I think it's a texture issue for me.

I was about to say BBQ tempeh, but then this thread reminded me about tempeh reubens which are incredibly delicious!
Baked tempeh with marinara sauce!
My hubby makes the most amazing tempeh scallopini. It's his own recipe and he's not even vegan!
I love it in goulash .. fried onions and sauerkraut and red pepper and mushrooms, with salt and pepper, paprika, a splash of white wine, and a creamy bechamel with just a little engevita added.. Then toss in the fried tempeh chunks. Fantastic!
My absolutely favorite way to eat tempeh is sauteed with caramelized onions and served over brown basmati. I usually add about 1/2 cup veg broth to the pan to make a little sauce. If I'm feeling cold, I add some Sriracha. Simple, easy worknight dinner.
Sweet and sour
I have to say I was always a little skeptical about tempeh..until I tried the tempeh rueben sandwich at wholefoods. I still haven't went out of my way to buy tempeh but I think I should start now =)
