Weekly Giveaway: Recycled Clutch Purse from Ecoist! tiffyqueen is the winner!

Vegans love fashion. It's true. We don't all subsist on a steady diet of birkenstocks and hoodies made from recycled potato bags. Not that there's anything wrong with that. If you haven't checked out the latest issue of VegNews, you're missing out on a great article about green fashion, it's a must read. Do you know what else is a must read? I have a column in the magazine, AN ADVICE COLUMN! That's right, you can "Ask Laura" any question you want, and I'll give you an answer. It'll probably be a really sassy answer. So go get your subscription today (http://vegnews.com/web/pages/page.do?pageId=4)!

Okay, that was a detour but I'm back on track now and hear to tell you that this week's giveaway combines fashion and recycling into an ultra chic small clutch bag from Ecoist (http://ecoist.com/). It's adorable and you need to own it, end of story.

To win the clutch, let me know what your St. Patrick's Day plans are!

Giveaway ends on Tuesday, March 16th at midnight, PST! Winner will be chosen at random!

Good luck!!

I'm part Irish and one of my dogs came from Ireland, so we'll be using this day as an excuse to celebrate our heritage. I have to work most of the day, but will certainly be having some form of potatoes and cabbage for lunch and dinner.

If I'm lucky, I'll go to some party or something. If not, I'll either hang with my best friend Scott or hang around by myself, surfing VW and playing games on facebook.. as usual.

We are Irish so we always do a big Irish themed dinner and the wearing of green clothing.  :)>>> This year there will certainly be whiskey cake on the menu!

I'm a nursing student so my plans will be to STUDY!  I'll be in clinical all day wearing purple scrubs - but I have red hair, so maybe I'll be all right. :P

I already made the Irish Soda bread from this site so I am have a leg up on the day.  I'll be working, but by day's end I will grab a Guinness and look for a leprechaun and when I say leprechaun, I mean my husband. :)

In the morning, I will be leading my son's preschool party in making their own blarney stones while wearing leprechaun hats.  Then I have to get to my other 2 son's school to start setting up for the Spring Book Fair and fill cookbook pre-orders for our school's family cookbook that just came in.  Later, after bringing the kids home from Spanish class, I will attempt to make a meatless, vegan friendly "Irish" meal for my family.  :D
